No disadvantages to start off early: Hansika

She’s paired opposite NTR Jr. in the movie titled Kanthri. As we spoke to her, we discovered that the lovable child star of the television series Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand has now transformed into a graceful lady, ready to step into the heroine's shoes.
How has your experience been so far on working with NTR Jr., and tell us a little about the role you are essaying in the movie.
It has been absolutely wonderful working with him and I am looking forward to good times here! In this movie I play the role of a lucky charm. For more you will have to wait and watch the movie!
This is only your second Telugu movie after Desa Muduru. Has language been a hindrance?
My director has been very kind and patient in helping me with the language. All my dialogues would be written and explained in English, which made it comfortable for me to deliver.
Aap Kaa Surroor has been the surprise hit of the year. How have you gained?
I have been pretty content with the reviews I received. The critics have gone soft on me. Even if the first day reports hadn't been favourable, I'd not have felt demoralised. Considering that I'm just at the beginning my career, I realise that there's always scope for improvement.
There has been a lot of speculation about your age and people are still confused...
The whole world knows I am only 16 years old. Why the confusion still?
Isn't that too early to get into showbiz?
Aap Kaa Surroor was a great opportunity and I didn't want to lose out on that. There aren't any disadvantages to starting off early. If anything, it gives me a head start in my career. It also affords me the time to correct my mistakes. This is an opportunity any teen would snap up.
There are more things in life to grab than just opportunities. Aren't you growing up a little too fast?
Others my age study, have fun with friends and think of what they want to do with their future. I knew what I wanted and worked happily towards my goal. Before long, when I'm safely cushioned in my career, others would be starting off and having teething problems.
And finally what is the secret behind your transformation from the cute Tina in of the small-screen to the damsel in distress in Aap ka Surroor?
During adolescence one matures fast and my films along with the character have shown that growth. All my roles are very different and my look would be dependent on the movie.
